Mapleton, Iowa-- Clarence Ernest Mohr, 63, of Mapleton, died Aug 4, 1975, of an apparent heart attack at an implement firm where he was employed.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Aug 7, in St Peter United Church of Christ. The Rev. Homer Perry officaiated. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery with the Walter Funeral Home in charge.

Mr Mohr was born July 24, 1912, near Mapleton. He married Bonita Passick April 9, 1939 in Mapleton. They farmed in the Mapleton area until 1966, then moved to Mapleton. He worked part time for the Lester and Theobald Aerial Spraying Service. For the last four years, he had been employed by Slota Impelement.

He was a member of St Peter United Church of Christ, Quarry Masonic Lodge 404 AF&AM at Mapleton and the National Farmers Organization. Mr Mohr served as church secretary for 10 years and served on the board of the Rural Electric Cooperative for 19 years.

Survivors include the widow; and a daughter, Mrs H L (Theon) Dempsy of Decatur, Ga,.
