Mrs George (Jessie) Indorf, 73, 226 Clark St., died at the Clay County Hospital Tuesday night. She was born March 28, 1902 at Council bluffs, Iowa, the daughter of Francis and Emily McCartney.

She was married Sep 29, 1920 to George Indorf. They lived on a farm in western Kansas until 1943 when they moved to Denver. They moved from Denver to Clay Center, Kansas in 1956. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Navy Mothers Club 189 and World War I Barracks and Auxiliary.

The survivors are her husband, George Indorf of the home, a daughter Ramona (Mrs Charles) Cameron, Clay Center; three sons, Richard Indorf and wife Lillian of Lampor, Calif., Milford Indorf and wife Eva and Ross Indorf and wife Alice of Denver; three sisters, Mrs Viola Foley of Denver, Mrs Delice Echenberg of St Francis and Mrs Betty Asslin of New York, NY; a brother Ed McCartney of Modesto, Calif; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Preceding her were her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Services will be held at the Neill-Schwensen Funeral Home on Friday morning at 10:30 with the Rev Donald Gaines officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 to 8:30
