MISS RUTH D, FELIX DIES SUDDENLY FROM HEART SEIZURE

Funeral Will Be Held Friday Afternoon at Krieger Home. Miss Ruth Felix died suddenly of an acute dilatation of the heart at 5:00 yesterday afternoon at the home of her cousin, Ralph Krieger, of Sunbury and Eighth streets. Miss Felix had been seriously ill only a week. Almost a year ago she was submitted for an operation in the Jefferson hospital, Philadelphia, but apparently recovered and appeared to be in good health. A week ago she was stricken acutely ill. Complications developed, followed by the fatal heart attack late yesterday. Ruth Felix was born in Shamokin, the daughter of Elmer and Emma (Krieger) Felix. She was educated in the borough schools and was graduated from Shamokin high school. She was a devout member of the First Presbyterian church and was active in all church work. Until recent years she was a member of the church choir. Surviving are her mother, one brother, Leon, of Shamokin, and three sisters, Mrs. John Haggerty, also of Shamokin; Mrs. Lloyd Mattern, of Sunnyside, and Mrs. Charles Sechler, of Detroit. The funeral will be Friday afternoon at 2:00 from the home of Ralph Krieger. Rev. J. N. Wagenhurst, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate and burial will be in the family plot in the Shamokin cemetery.
