William H. Bieber, of Longswamp, Mertztown R. 1, died early Monday at his home after a short illness. He was 55 years old. Born in Lower Macungie township, he was the son of the late Edwin and Ida, nee Romig, Bieber. He was employed as a machinist at the Emmaus Stoker Works. Surviving are the following children: Ruth, wife of Claude Geist, Allentown R. 3; Vivian, Allentown, and Seaman Second Class Herman Bieber, in the South Pacific. There are three grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Jenny Fox, Mertztown R. 1. Relatives and friends are invited to attend services Thursday at 2 p.m. from the DeLong Funeral home, Topton. Interment will be in the cemetery of Longswamp church. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
