Marian B. Handrich, formerly of Manawa, Wis., died Tuesday, Nov. 3, at her daughter's home in Waukesha, Wis. She was 95 years old.

She was born in Goodhue Jan. 23, 1914, on the Bremer Family Farm, of parents John and Mary Bremer. She was baptized and confirmed at the Goodhue St. Peter Lutheran Church. She married Clarence (Kye) Ryan on Oct. 25, 1933. They lived in Rochester. Clarence Ryan died July 5, 1970. Marian married Rolland C. Handrich on Nov. 30, 1974. They lived in Manawa until moving to Bethany Assisted Living in Waupaca, Wis. Rolland died on Jan. 15, 2009, at the Bethany Home in Waupaca.

Marian is survived by daughters Barbara Danielson (Dan) of Phoenix, Ariz., Sr. Lalonde Ryan, Sr. Briana McCarthy, Mary Pofahl (James) of Waukesha, Wis., Judy Ryan (Darrel Johnson) of Minnetonka, Minn., and Linda Hughes (Mike) of Richfield, Minn.; and sons, Tom Handrich (Alice) of Shakopee, Minn., William Handrich (Jeanette) of Waupaca and John Handrich (Daryl) of Surprise, Ariz.; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Crawford of Rochester, Della Cutting of Phoenix, Ariz., and Velda Skagen of Roswell, Ga.; as well as many nieces, nephews and very dear friends.

A celebration of Marian's life will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa. The funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 6, at noon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 742 Depot St., Manawa, with the Rev. Vilas Mazemke officiating. There will be a visitation at the church from 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service. Burial will be in Rochester at Calvary Cemetery on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m.

Memorials may be directed to either St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manawa or the Sisters of Saint Francis Rochester.
