Shad received his education from Elwood, Nebraska High School and graduated with The Class of 1993. On Nov. 22, 2002, he married Brenna Nelson of Elwood, Nebraska. He and his wife made their home in several places before making their current home in rural West Point. He participated in several activities involving rodeo, roping and horses.
He enjoyed golfing, reading and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors are wife, Brenna Fong; parents, Mary (Anderson) Landanger of Minden, Nebraska and Lonny Fong of Elwood, Nebraska; sister, Abby Cronin and her husband, Jamie, of Pleasanton, Nebraska; half-sister, Lacey Fong of Broken Bow, Nebraska; parents-in-law, Dewey and Mary Nelson of Elwood, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Michael Nelson and his wife, Meggan, of Holbrook, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Angela Puls and her husband, Fred, of Smithfield, Nebraska and Sarah Nelson and friend Frank Leising of Arapahoe, Nebraska; maternal grandmother, NadaBelle Anderson of Kearney, Nebraska; and a host of relatives and friends.
Shad was welcomed into The Heavenly Home by his maternal grandfather Anderson and paternal grandparents Fong.
