Sanford, Fla. - Mrs Ella Ridge Hodgins, youngest daughter of William
Wesley and Mary Ann Kemp Ridge, was born at Alton on October 20, 1893, and died at her home on May 22 at the age of 72. She had lived in Sanford the last 49 years.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are her husband, Roy B. Hodgins; a daughter, Mrs Sam Alice Dunn, of Sanford, and sons, L.B. Hodgins, of St. Augustine, Fla., and Capt Paul Hodgins, of Albany, Ga.; seven grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.
She was the last of a family of seven children.
Her parents, two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death. Mrs Hodgins was an Aunt of Ray Ridge and Mrs Edward Levell, of Curby.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday of last week at 3:30 P.M. at the Bresson Funeral Home. with the Rev Oliver Weise, of the Congregational
Church, officiating. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery at Sanford.
