Halsey Resident, Woman, 82, Dies
Anna K. Cornley of Rt. 1, Halsey, died in Albany Wednesday at the age of 82 years. She had been a resident of Halsey for 22 years.
She was born in Marathan, Wis., Jan. 2, 1874. She was married at Mt. Angel in October, 1899, to Joseph A. Cornley who died in April, 1951. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Anna M. Corbit of Jefferson, Alice M. Cornley of Salem, Bertha A. Cornley of Halsey, and Clara M. Cornley of Tacoma, Wash.; three sons, Bernard J. Frank X., and Theodore A., all of Halsey; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Recitation of the rosary will be Friday at 8 p.m. in the Harrisburg Murphy Funeral home. A requiem mass will be said in Our Lady of Victory Catholic church, Harrisburg, Saturday at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Gerald F. Leanahan, celebrant. Interment will follow in Alford cemetery, Harrisburg.
