Harold Bernhart, one of the most promising young men, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bernhart at Milan Sunday. Death was but a release from his sufferings as Harold has been sick since last February, although hope was held out at all times for his recovery. A severe cold which he contracted in February developed into pneumonia which resulted in serious complications that refused to yield to the best of physicians skill and the most careful nursing.

Deceased was 21 years of age and up until his recent illness was a trusted employee of the L. G. Eder grocery. He was well known in this city and leaves a host of friends to mourn his loss. The funeral was held at the home of his parents and burial was at Moores Hill. Three boys, Delbert Tripp, Frank Robinson and Frank Eder, and three girls, Marjorie Phillips, Merry Louise Robinson and Regina Eder acted as pall bearers.
