Richard J. Liedl, age 39, of Main Street in Falls Creek, PA died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at his residence.
He was born on April 28, 1970 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late William H. Liedl and Olga (Elnitsky) Liedl.
He was a graduate of DuBois Area High School and the Hiram Andrews School in Johnstown.
He was a member of St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in Falls Creek. He volunteered for various organizations in our local area and enjoyed karaoke. He was cared for by his aunt and uncle, Mary and Don Hannah of Reynoldsville, PA.
He is also survived by his aunt, Ruth Nichol of DuBois, his aunt and uncle, Sylvia and Don Liedl of Falls Creek, PA, his aunt and uncle, Catherine and Paul Johnson of DuBois, PA, and his aunt and uncle, Carol and Jack Rokosky of DuBois, PA. He is also survived by many cousins, and special friends, Sandy and Rob Ferensic of Northern Cambria, PA and Penny and Tom Daub of Clearfield, PA.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 13, 2009 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Scriptural Wake will be held on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 8:30 P.M. from the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 10 A.M. from the St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Falls Creek, PA with Fr. Mark Stockton as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.
