Miss Hanna Roscher

Funeral services for Miss Hanna Caroline Roscher, 83, will be at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow at Cage-Mills funeral chapel with the Rev. Allen Craft, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Old Bayview Cemetery. Miss Roscher died at 5 a.m. yesterday at her home, 1303 Peabody, following a long illness. Born in Corpus Christi Sept. 18, 1876, at the old family home, she was a nurse at the Fred Roberts Hospital for many years before her retirement in 1943. The old home is still standing at Lipan and Carancahua. The home was built in 1875 by her parents; Ernest and Lucy Roscher, who came here from Germany. Miss Roscher had lived here all her life. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one brother, Herman of Corpus Christi; seven nieces including Mrs. Roy Rouse, whom she reared and five nephews.
