I came across this gentleman's obituary and have abstracted the following information from it.
Abstract of his obituary in The Sedalia Democrat, Fri., 12 Aug 1938, pg. 6:
John Michael Wild, born 23 Oct 1872, Winfield, Indiana; died Tuesday, August 9, Raymond, Washington. Son of B. L. and Mary Wild. Married Mary Meyer on 22 Feb 1905. They had four children: Oscar, Amiel, and Velma of the home, and Mildred, wife of Harry Johnston of Raymond, Washington. His mother survives him, along with siblings Mrs. Anna Gerken of St. Louis, Mrs. M. J. Clifford of Sedalia, and brother A. B. Wild of Sedalia. His father and four sisters preceded him in death. He had moved to Raymond, Washington, with his family two years previously.
