Nettie E. Gann, 95, of 63 Davidson Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, in a local hospital.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Paul and Laura Bradley Flynn and was married to the late Daniel Webster Gann. She was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha Sprinkle of Asheville and Helen Bradley of Bostic; three sisters, Irene Creasman and Ruth Teague, both of Asheville and Zettie Claybough of Sevierville, Tenn., 22 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The Rev. E.M. Pettit will officiate. Burial will be in Dix Creek Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Groce Funeral Home.
