Alfred A. Brem, age 64, of Rt. 2 West, passed away Tuesday morning in West Community Hospital.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Melvin Dornak as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in West with Military Graveside services conducted by V.F.W. Post #4819.

Mr. Brem was born March 20, 1920 in Westphalia and had lived in West for the past 60 years.

He was a veteran of World War II having served in the army.

Mr. Brem was a farmer, developer and home builder. He was a member of Catholic Live Insurance and S.P.J.S.T. #54.

He married Mary Polansky April 14, 1942 at West.

Mr. Brem is survived by his wife Mary of Rt. 2 West; one son, Dr. Alfred Frank Brem of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Eddie Brem and Ben Brem, both of Bellmead; and one grandson, Kyle Brem.

Active pallbearers: Marvin Brem, Ollie Brem, Charlie Kolar, Robert Kocurek and David Polansky.

Kotch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
