Ky., was born in Cincinnati, Ohio
on April 15, 1988 and passed away
at the scene of an auto accident on
Ky Hwy. 330 near Corinth, Ky. on
November 18, 2009 at the age of 21.
He was the son of Kevin Jude and
Teresa Marie Field Fernandez of
Dry Ridge, Ky.
In addition to his parents, Matthew
is survived by his fiance', Tiffany
Smith of Owenton, Ky.; his daughter,
Stefanie Nicole Fernandez, of Owenton,
Ky.; one brother, Joshua J. Fernandez,
of Dry Ridge, Ky.; three sisters,
Ashley A., Courtney N., and Lindsey
M. Fernandez,all of Dry Ridge, Ky.

Matthew was a shipping clerk for the
L'Oreal Corporation and an Aide at
the Owenton Manor, Owenton, Ky.
He was a PFC in the Kentucky National
Guard in Independence, Ky., where he
was a Humvee Mechanic for the 1204th
Aviation Support Battalion.
Funeral services were held on Monday,
November 23, 2009 at 11 am at the
Sherman Baptist Church in Dry Ridge,
Ky., with burial in Hillcrest
Cemetery, Dry Ridge, Ky. with full
military honors. Elliston-Stanley

were in charge of the services.
