She was born on Friday, April 28, 1916 in Rough and Ready, a daughter of the late Harvey Wolfgang and the late Kathryn (Mattern) Wolfgang.
Gertrude had worked as a Hostess and Naker at the former Lykens Valley Stake House, Millersburg.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Royersford.
Gertrude was a member of the Phoenixville Senior Citizens Center.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, and golfing.
In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband: Ralph S Deibler in 1998; her sisters: Elda Troutman and Iva Wolfgang; and her four brothers: Norman, Paul, Cleon, and Guy Wolfgang.
She is survived by her daughter: Sandra L Poelck and her husband, Werner of Collegeville; her two granddaughters: Kirsten A. Bradbury of Ardmore and Kelly S. Hudak and her husband, Denis of Spring City; her grandson: Eric W. Poelck and his wife, Lisa of Schwenksville; her two great-granddaughters: Devon T Poelck of Schwenksville and Hannah M Hudak of Spring City; her sister: Dorothy Schreffler of Millersburg; her brother: Ray Wolfgang of Valley View; her sister-in-law: Mary Alice Crabbe of San Clemente, California; and, her nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in Trinity Lutheran Church, Valley View, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Carl Shankweiler, officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Valley View.
