Richard L. Peer, 68, of Sumner, died Saturday, July 24, 2002, at Sumner Care and Rehab Center in Sumner.
There will be no visitation. His body was cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Peer was born on February 10, 1936, in Richland County, the son of William V. and Mary E. (Quillen) Peer.
He retired from AMF after 35 years.
Mr. Peer is survived by his mother, Mary E. Peer, of Olney, two daughters, Tonya Jo Peer, of West Palm Beach, FL and April Brynn Munro and her husband, Mar, of Orlando, FL, a son Richard M. Peer, of Victoria, TX; four sisters, Mary Fehrenbacher and her husband, John, of Olney, Connie Murphy and her husband, Frank, of Fredricksburg, VA, Juanita Leaf, of Weatherford, TX, and Sandra Kubb and her husband, Alan of Champaign; and a grandchild, Sabrina Michels.
He was preceded in death by his father.
