ALTO PASS - Rose Clark, 61, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at her residence near Alto Pass.
Rose was born Sept. 6, 1948, in Carbondale to Nelson Grammer and Ethel (Etherton) Grammer.
She worked in housekeeping at Carbondale Clinic in Carbondale.
Rose was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship in Murphysboro.
She is survived by her mother, Ethel Grammer of Alto Pass; one sister, Elois Nipper and husband, Eugene, of Alto Pass; one niece, Debra Nelson of Belton, S.C.; one nephew, John Julian of Mauldin, S.C.; and two aunts, Inez Blessing and Gussie Brunty, both of Murphysboro.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, in Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro, with the Rev. Frank Voorhees officiating. Burial will be in Dutch Ridge Cemetery in Pomona. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
