Patricia A. "Scrappy" Korba, 68, of Eddystone, died Dec. 8 at Taylor Hospice in Ridley Park.
Born in Chester, she was a former longtime Norristown resident.
Ms. Korba was employed at Developmental Enterprises Corporation and volunteered at nursing homes.
A joyful soul, she enjoyed family, laughing, dogs, dancing, bowling, shopping at the farmers, watching Bonanza and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley. She was known as someone who stood up for herself and protected her friends.
In her honor, Korba's Kubs will be participating in the Polar Bear Plunge on Feb. in Lewes, Del., as a fundraiser for the Special Olympics.
She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline Korba and the sister of the late Donald A. Korba-Blissick,
Survivors: Sister, Elaine Kreckovsky, Jackie Meyers and Julianna Rosado; nieces; nephews.
Service: 10 a.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone.
Viewing: 9:30-10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.
