Albert H. Pfeiffer, 76, of 115 Avondale Place, died Friday at the Veterans Administration Medical Center after a long illness.

Mr. Pfeiffer was a native of Cincinnati and attended the University of Cincinnati.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the 3281st Ordinance Unit in Okinawa as a captain.

He was the owner of the Syracuse Scenery and Stage Lighting Co. until 1969.

He was a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees Local 9.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, Albert H. Pfeiffer Jr., of Pittsford, Monroe County; a daughter, Christine E. Streeter of Normal, Ill.; seven brothers and sisters; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Burns-Garfield Funeral Home. Burial arrangements are pending.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 3175 E. Genesee St.

Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1603 W. Genesee St., Syracuse 13204.
