Funeral services for Mrs. Luella Jane Collins, who would have been 92 years of age Sunday, April 21, were held Tuesday, April 16, at 2 p.m. from her late farm home in Argentine Township with burial in Argentine Township. Rev. Frank S. Adams of Lansing officiated. Mrs. Collins died Sunday at her home where she had lived her entire married life. She had been ill for more than a year. She was born April 21, 1854, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Lahring, on a farm one mile from the home where she died. She was married to Ralph Collins Jan 24, 1872. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lewis Scrivner, at home; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and several nephews and nieces. Mrs. Collins was a lifelong member of the Universalst Church."
