The town is located in thenorthwest corner of Poland at the German border.Immigrated to United States in 1852.Went by name of Louis Kuschel.Louis M. Kuschel entered the service on January 4, 1865 for theUnion Army. He was in the 68th Ohio Infantry as a private andwas discharged September 16, 1865. Louis met and married Henrietta Caroline Bock about 1857 married in Missouri. She came from Germany with her family in 1854. Her parents were Christopher Bock and Catharine Peotrascke .They raised eleven children.
