Lucille L. Beste,78,was born May 15,1919,in Bulverda,
Texas,the daughter of the late Willie Bruno Rieger and his
wife,Alma Frideck Rieger,and died Friday,February 27,1998,
in Washington.

She received her schooling in Bulverda,Texas.

February 19,1944,she was united in marriage to William Sieges in San Antonio,Texas.He preceded her in death March 11,1969.

November 11,1973,she was united in marriage to William Beste and he preceded her in death May 8,1996.

Mrs. Besteloved children and was a foster mother to over 100 children.

Those who survive are four sons,Leonard Beste,Washington,
Joseph Beste,Rhode Island,Bryan Beste,Washington,and
Daniel Beste,Kansas City;four daughters,Maxine Jarzewiak,
Melissa Merrill and Christina Beste,all of Beaufort,and Lori
Moss,Belle;two sisters,Alice Franke and Valeska Poliske,San Antonio,Texas;three brothers,Gilbert Rieger,Larry Rieger
and Sonny Rieger,all of San Antonio,Texas;six grandchildren;
seven great grandchildren;other relatives and many friends.

After visiation at the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union,
funeral services were held Monday,March 2,at 12 p.m. from the Immaculate Conception Church,Union by Rev. Peter Blake.Interment followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery at Neier with Rev. Gerald Simpson officiating.
