He was a Semi Driver for International Harvester and Yellow Freight. He was also a School Bus Driver for Wayne Township and a U.S. Army Veteran having served during WW II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge - Indianapolis Chapter, Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, Moose Lodge, Last Man's Club - American Legion and Teamsters Local 135.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 17, 2005 at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway, with calling there 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2005. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Margaret Knoebel. He is survived by his third wife, Betty Knoebel; step-sons, Ronald, Thomas L., Randy J. and Gary D. Kelso; daughters, Carolyn M. White and Marilyn Blair; son, Richard L. Knoebel; brother, Charles C. Knoebel; and several grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
