He was born June 19, 1884 in Frankenlust Township, Bay County. He had resided in Bay County all his life until 6 years ago, when he took residence with his daughter, Mrs. Erwin Daenzer, Richville.
He married the former Clara E. Born June 17, 1917 in Bay City. She predeceased him Jan. 8, 1967. He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Richville and was an employee of the city of Bay City.
Surviving are (2) daughters, Mrs. Erwin (Alice) Daenzer, Richville; Mrs. Alvin (Helen) Frahm, Frankenmuth; three brothers, Michael, Conrad, and William Ziegler, Bay City; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Volkman, living in New York; three grandchildren, Donald Daenzer, Robert and Anne Frahm.
Funeral services will take place 1PM Monday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Richville. Rev. William Schoenow will officiate with burial in Oakridge Cemetery, Bay City.
Friends may call at the Achenbach Funeral Chapel, Reese after 1PM Sunday until 11AM Monday, and at the church from 12PM Monday until time of service. Those who so desire may give memorials to their favorite charity.
