Emma Mae Turner Bergman, 80, of Oxford, died Monday morning, April 16, 2007 at her home in Oxford.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday April 20, 2007 at Oxford Funeral Service in Oxford with Rev. Bob Conelley officiating. Interment will be in the Oxford Cemetery.

A Visitation will be held Thursday April 19, 2007 at the Oxford Funeral Service from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. A memorial has been established with the Slidell United Methodist Church in Louisiana. Emma was born Nov. 2, 1926, the daughter of Huston H. Turner and Mary Rosetta Smith in Morrison, Mo. She married Charles Bergman on Sept. 2, 1944 in Sedalia, Mo. Survivors include her husband, Charles of Oxford; sons Duane and wife Sandi of Picayune, Miss., Ed and wife Kim of Winthrop, Maine; daughters Deanna Wall of Portland, Ore. and Anita and husband Lawrence of Oxford; sister Barbara Turner of Longview, Texas and brother Bernard Turner of Linden, Texas; grandchildren Dale Jester, Jason Jester, Jennifer Deschene and husband John, Crystal Dussouy and husband Guy, Suzanne Jester, Ryan Bergman, Todd Bergman, Brandon Bergman and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death is her daughter Phyllis Stone and granddaughter Robin Stone.
