Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Rocky Jay Rouley, 29, who passed away on January 6, 2010 at 6:30 am at his residence.
Deacon Frank Cormier of St. Edmond Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Fountain Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Rocky, a resident of Lafayette, La, was son of Rocky James Rouley of Lafayette, La and the former Dru Miller of Jennings, La.
He is survived by his mother Dru Rouley of Lafayette; his father, Rocky Rouley of Lafayette; one daughter, Reagan Rouley of Lafayette; one sister, Shelly Lovas and her husband Bryan of Lafayette; niece and nephews, Olivia, Austin, and Adam Lovas; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Marshall Miller and Yvonne Miller; paternal grandparents, Leroy and Mary Rouley; and good friend, Brandon Dalme.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Thursday from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and will continue on Friday from 9:00 am until time of services at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Lovas, Mike Miller, David Miller, Matthew Vidrine, Steve Vidrine, and Gabriel Andaya. Honorary Pallbearer will be Adam Lovas, and Baker Dalme.
