Funeral Mass for Benjamin C. Bienek, 86, of Houston, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg. Interment will follow at West Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery in Rosenberg. Father William Bartniski will officiate the services.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 7, 2009 with a rosary at 7:45 P.M. in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Benjamin was born October 5, 1923 in Lockhart to Mike F. and Pracida Bienek. He passed away October 5, 2009 in Houston.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mike F. and Pracida Bienek; daughter, Janice Ann Bienek; brother, Alois Bienek Alois Bienek; and sisters, Telka Grabarkievtz and Sophie Walenta Sophie Walenta. Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Connie R. Bienek; children, Lana Miller and husband, Jerry, Lonnie Bienek and Benjamin Bienek, Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda Bienek and Benjamin Miller; brother, Michael Bienek; sisters, Matilda Gutkowski, Alma Ewald and Laura Stublefield; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
