FATHER AND SON BURIED HERE

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Curtis were called to Mt. Clemens on Friday, June 23, by the sudden death of Mrs. Curtis brother, John Wilson. Mr. Wilson was killed instantly in an automobile accident in which he and his son, John Jr., were passengers. John Jr. was critically injured and passed away five days later. Burial services were held in Highland cemetery, Gladwin on June 26 and July 1st.
Those coming to Gladwin to attend the burial services were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hicks and two sons, Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Wilson, Blanceh, Helen, Nickie, Larry, Robert , Thomas and Jean Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. James Plunket, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Plunket, Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Schoff and daughter, Loren. Mr. and Mrs. R. McDonald and daughter, Bertha, of Mt. Clemens; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jennings and two daughters, of Cincinnati, Ohio; James Wilson, of Rhode Island; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Lockard, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Anderson and two daughters, of Van Wert, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Plunket, of Van Dyke; Mr. and Mrs. R. Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Rodden and two children, Mr. James Phillips and daughter, of Roscommon; and Robert North and Jack Curtis, of Wyandotte.
