Mr. Cook died Thursday January 07, 2010. Born in Blaney, SC, he was the son of the late Ollie and Mattie Goff Cook and widower of the late Virginia (Ginney) Hatch Cook. Mr. Cook loved Yankee's baseball, was an avid fisherman, rebuilt Mustangs and was a Ford car enthusiast. Mr. Cook retired from the United States Navy as a Chief after thirty years of service.
Mr. Cook is survived by his children, daughter, Shelley Fetterolf of Collingdale, PA; son, Mickey D. (Amy) Dobbins of Columbia; stepchildren, Kathy Gummelt (Michael), Laurie Rodgers and Michael Forrester; five grandchildren, Thomas Dobbins, Dennis Fetterolf, Dana Schubert, Sara Fetterolf and Dawn Strawbridge; six great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Cook of Camden. Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward, Raymond, Carl and Owen Cook.
