Professional Hockey Player. For six seasons (1969 to 1975), he played at the right-wing position in the Western Hockey League with the San Diego Gulls, Denver Spurs and Phoenix Roadrunners, National Hockey League with the Buffalo Sabres and St. Louis Blues, and World Hockey Association with the Minnesota Fighting Saints. Prior to his professional career, he played collegiate hockey at St. Lawrence University. He appeared in 11 games with the Blues during the 1971-1972 NHL Postseason, scoring 2 goals with 1 assist. In 134 career NHL games, he scored 13 goals and recorded 18 assists. In addition, he played one season of European hockey in Sweden (1975 to 1976). Following his playing career, he attended the University of Windsor's Law School from where he attained his degree and became a practicing barrister. He was the younger brother of former NHL player Danny O'Shea.
