Donald G. Paschal, age 80, of Roseville, Ill., passed away at 5:49 a.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010, at OSF Holy Family in Monmouth, Ill. On March 12, 1929, Donald was born in Monmouth, the son of Kenneth L. and Katherine E. McKelvey "Bessie" Paschal.
Donald was reared in Roseville and graduated from Roseville High School.
In 1949, Donald married Alice M. Moser in Missouri.
Donald was a farmer in Ellison Township all his life. He was a member of the Farm Bureau. In 1992, his farm was named a Centennial Farm. Showing antique automobiles was his hobby.
Survivors are his wife Alice Paschal of Roseville, four daughters, Jacqueline A. Rule of Dallas, Texas, F. June Roberson of LaVergne, Tenn., Kathy (Romon) Delao of Bureau, Ill., and Peggy (Melvin) Riden of Havana, Ill., three sons Donald L. (Joyce) Paschal of Roseville, Ronald Paschal of Monmouth and Phillip Paschal of Quinlan, Texas. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Preceding Donald are his parents, one daughter, Angela, one son-in-law Randy Roberson and one brother Orin Paschal.
Services: A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth. Interment will be in the Center Grove Cemetery in Kirkwood.
