Mrs. Rosa T. Molter, 89, died at a Bay City Nursing home Sunday, September 23. Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Brethren church, Beaverton, at 2 p.m. with burial in the Dale cemetery. Rev. E. S. Hollinger officiated.
Mrs. Molter was born in Buffalo, NY., on May 1, 1856, and was married to Alfred Molter on September 24, 1872 in Kilmanagh, Huron county. Mr. Molter passed away about 35 years ago. Mrs. Molter has lived in Tobacco township for nearly 50 years. She was a member of the Brethren church and the parish Women's society.
Surviving are two sons, John and Alfred of Beaverton; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hooper, of Beaverton, Mrs. Mary Bease, of Ann Arbor, Mrs. Levina O'Neill, of Englewood, California, and Mrs. Mabelle Watson, of Chicago; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
