They were the parents of two (2) adopted daughters:

Sandra ZIELINSKI JANKWIETZ
She was a graduate of Manistee High School, Class of 1943.
Delores had been employed at Home Service Studio, the Frankfort Garment Factory and until her retirement at the Hobby Toy Store in downtown Manistee. She had a great love for music during her lifetime and in her younger years played in a dance band at many of the Manistee area dancing establishments. Her favorite instruments were the electric Hawaiian guitar and the accordion, both of which she played well. In her later years, Delores enjoyed spending time crocheting. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church of Manistee.
She was survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Loraine and Sandra (David) JANKWIETZ all of Manistee, two granddaughters, Megan JANKWIETZ of Kalamazoo, and Michelle JANKWIETZ of Manistee, her sister Dorothy ZURAFSKI of Mayer, Arizona; three sisters-in-law, Theresa EDEL of Portage, Veronica SHRAMSKI and Elizabeth BARTOSIEWICZ both of Manistee, her brother-in-law Alex ZIELINSKI of Manistee. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive her. Delores is also survived by her little Chihuahua, "Tootie."
Mass and burial were held on 30 January 2010, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
