DALLAS - Victor Mueller, 74, formerly of Canyon, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001.

Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel in Canyon with the Rev. Terry Meyer, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Canyon, officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery of Canyon.

Mr. Mueller was born Aug. 9, 1927, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Max and Mathilda Cwiet Mueller Sr. He graduated from high school in Milwaukee in 1945 and served in the Air Force for 12 years.

He graduated from West Texas State University in 1962 with a bachelor's of business administration in accounting. He was employed as a postal inspector for 25 years and lived in Amarillo, Canyon and Dallas. He was a member of the Lutheran church and the son of a Lutheran minister.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth.

Survivors include his wife, Helene of Dallas; two brothers, Arman Mueller and Max Mueller Jr.; and a sister, Esther Pajara of Wisconsin.

The family suggests memorials be to St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.
