Sabine Vero "Sally" Bondoc, 80, died March 8, 2001. Mrs. Bondoc, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., was the widow of Benito Sunga Bondoc and was retired from Obici Hospital in Suffolk as a switchboard operator. She was a Catholic.
Survivors include a daughter, a son, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin Bondoc.
A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Burial will be private in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. Friends may join the family today from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at her granddaughter's home, 3040 Edinburgh Drive, Kings Grant, Virginia Beach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church Restoration Fund, 518 High St., Portsmouth, VA 23704.
