Mrs. Guldi died Friday, Jan. 29, at Richards Memorial Hospital in Rockdale.
She was born Sept. 6, 1915, in Water Mill, New York, to Lawrence W. Halsey and Alice Topping Halsey.
She married Arthur A. Guldi on Sept. 9, 1939, in Water Mill, New York.
Mrs. Guldi was a homemaker and had been a Rockdale resident for the past 46 years.
She graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in home economics.
After living in Niagara Falls, New York, the Guldi family moved to Alcoa, Tennessee, in 1947, where they lived for 18 years. There, Mrs. Guldi and her family were active in scouting.
The Guldi family relocated to Rockdale in 1965.
Mrs. Guldi was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rockdale where she served as a deacon and as president of the Women of the Church.
She helped with Meals on Wheels and at the Thrift Shop.
Mrs. Guldi enjoyed bird watching, gardening, baking, camping, traveling and playing bridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Halsey.
Survivors are her husband, Arthur A. Guldi of Rockdale; a son, Richard Guldi and wife Christine of Dallas; a daughter, Susan Paaske of Brashear; five granddaughters, Rebecca and husband Scott Tankersley, Amy Guldi, all of Dallas, Joanna Guldi of Boston, Massachusetts, Sheri Paaske and Michele Peek, both of Brashear; and 10 great-grandchildren, Alex, Bradley and Brooke Peek, Kelsey Cope, Trevor, Elton and Owen Tankersley, Abby and Alex Zedlitz and Coleman Guldi.
