Tuesday morning about 4 o'clock, Charles Brinkman's oldest son William, aged 20 years, was in the barn attending to the horses. Mr. Brinkman went out to see about chores and as he stepped into the stable door his son gasped and dropped dead into his arms. An examination disclosed the cause of his death to have been a kick from a horse directly over the heart. William Brinkman is spoken of as having been an industrious, exemplary young man and his sudden death is greatly regretted in the community where he lived. The unfortunate event rook place at the farm house two miles north of Tipton.
