This is the story of a wonderful lady Celeste Marie King (nee Wacker). 12 Mar 1917 - 20 Dec 1953
A loving and caring Mother, Sister, Daughter, Niece, and friend.

Her time here on Earth was so very short. Only 36 years, however; she accomplished many wonderful things in those short 36 years. Now, image how God's handy works illustrates our lives when we have no idea what we are in for. Celeste had a loving heart and foresight which gave her family a home to call their own.

Celeste M. Wacker was born on the 12th day of March in 1917. Her parents were Edward Wacker & Celeste Baldenweck. She was the youngest of 3 surviving children. Her parents had and infant in Mar 1916 that didn't survive and twins that didn't survive in Jan 1922. She had a brother Edgar and a sister Clarese Memorial ID 48043500.
Edgar was a police officer and Clarese married and moved to California.

Celeste married a Professional Baseball Player, Lynn Paul King, in 1940
He was from Iowa, and after they married, they moved their children to Iowa.

Their 4 children. 3 sons, Robert Lynn King born in Oct 1940, James Lewis King born in 1941, and David Gerard King born in 1945 and 1 daughter, Susanne Elizabeth King born 9 May 1943.

Her Mother, Celeste Baldenweck Wacker Memorial ID 47861450 & her sister Clarese Wacker Booth Memorial ID 48043500 raised Celeste Wacker King's 4 children along with Clarese's 2 daughters from her previous marriage.
At the time of her death her children were, Robert age 13, Susan age 10, James age 7 and David age 5.

What a blessing she was to have the foresight to buy the house on Sanford for her and her children, not aware of her terminally ill heath issue.

In that tiny house on Sanford, lived 3 adult ladies, 3 young boys and 3 young girls. It was only a 2 bedroom home. That surely was God's handy work. The children were raised as 1 big family.

Celeste Marie King was laid to rest at Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery on 23 Dec 1953, interment #77847, Sec:036 Plot:0827
