" Mrs. Mary Stuckenschneider, wife of Christ Stuckenschneider, died
at the family home in St. Louis on November 21, 1942. The deceased was born at Westphalia 83 years ago and was the daughter of Stephen Diekneite, one of the pioneer carpenters and builder of that community. She was married to Christ Stuckenschneider, a son of the pioneer Herman Stuckenschneider family. From there the Diekneites moved to St. Elizabeth.

Mrs. Stuckenschneider is survived by her aged husband and the
following children : Herman, George and Mrs. Annette Wayant of St. Louis; Miss Rose of Westphalia and Conrad of St. Elizabeth. The funeral took place Tuesday November 24th in St. Louis."
