Eva Bradshaw Obray Long was born April 1, 1877 in Paradise to Thomas Lorenzo Obray and Ruth Nuttall Bradshaw.

She married Samuel William Lloyd on November 15, 1892 in Paradise. The marriage was solemnized on December 1, 1932 in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1932.

Eva was active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving as a temple worker in the Salt Lake Temple for several years.

She moved to Salt Lake City in 1912, residing at 345 West Paxton Avenue (1170 South) until her death.

On June 14, 1956, at 3:00 p.m., Eva slipped and fell at home. She sustained a fractured neck femur. Eva passed away at 4:15 p.m. on June 26, 1956 at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City from complications of the fall as well as arteriosclerotil heart disease and senility, both of which she suffered from for three years.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday in the Rose Room located at 36 East 700 South in Salt Lake City. Vern Obray, a cousin and Bishop of the Salt Lake Thirtieth Ward, conducted the services. A viewing was held on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and prior to the services on Friday.
Eva was laid to rest following the conclusion of the funeral services in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
