Margaret M. Ruhlman, 73, a resident of the North Branch area for 50 years, died Saturday in McLaren Hospital, Flint, after a short illness. Mrs. Ruhlman, the former Margaret Grobbel, was born Feb. 19, 1896 in Centerline and was married to Lawrence Ruhlman in 1919. He died in 1968.
She is survived by four sons, Raymond, New Haven; Edwin, Centerline; Leo, North Branch; and David of Clawson; three daughters, Mrs. Henry Knoche; Roseville, Mrs. Stanley Andrzejewski, Utica; Mrs. Stanley Theisen, Warren; four brothers, John Grobbel, Ionia, Raymond Grobbel, New Haven, Ferdinand Grobbel, and Aloysius GrobbeI, both of Warren; four sisters, Mrs. Cecilia Zott, Warren; Mrs. Katherine Burge, Centerline; Mrs. Mary Jenuwine, Centerline; Sister Thomas Aquinas, Mt, Clemens Parish, Centerline; 30 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
The remains are in the Blackburn Funeral Home, North Branch, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., today. Funeral services will he held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Peter and Paul Church, North Branch, with Rev. Henry W. Keenan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
