Mrs. Randolph was born on Jan. 10, 1916, in Douglas County, the daughter of Oley and Catherine Knopp Laughlin. She married Eugene W. Randolph on Dec. 26, 1936, in Tuscola. He preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 1999.
Survivors include her two granddaughters, Shawna Bosch and husband Todd of Pesotum, and Tricia Scott and husband Chris of Tuscola; four great-grandchildren, Nicole Crouch, Brian Bosch, Stephen Bosch and Dylan Scott; and one great-great-granddaughter, Aubrey Crouch.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Bean, and a sister, Dorothy Jones.
Ruth and her husband farmed west of Tuscola for many years prior to their retirement. Ruth enjoyed going to the Tuscola Senior Center and playing cards. She was a member of the Douglas County Museum Association.
