Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church in Edgerton.
Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Edgerton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 5 from 7-9 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Chapel in Edgerton.
Doris Jean Vos was born to John and Cecilia (Heidgerken) Vos on March 6, 1930 in Nobles County.
She attended the Edgerton Public School and helped her family farm until they moved to Ackley in 1945. They continued farming there until 1963, when they moved back to Edgerton.
Her father died August 21, 1986 and her mother on Sept. 14, 1991. Following their deaths, Doris remained in her parents' home until she became a resident of the Edgebrook Care Center on Dec. 6, 1996.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Edgerton.
She is survived by her sister, Norie Pool, Edgerton; her brother, Nick Vos, Arnold's Park, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Ardith Vos, Minneapolis and a brother-in-law, Lewis Child, Brainerd.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Childs and a brother, George Vos
