Ray Galloway's Mother Succumbs Last Wednesday
Mrs. George Wittig, 72 of Bazine, Kans., mother of Ray Galloway, passed away last Wednesday, December 5, at a Ness City hospital. She was born August 30, 1890 at St. Paul; Minn. Mrs. Wittig had been in ill health for the last two and a half years.
She is survived by her widower, George, of the home; three sons, Ray Galloway of Onaga, Ed Galloway, Choudrant, La., and Carl Wittig, with the Merchant Marines; three daughters, Miss Marie Wittig, McPherson, Kans.; Mrs. Helen Gaterman, Sublette, Kans.; and Mrs. Mable Payne, Monterey, Calif.; five step-sons, George Eddie, Leo, Victor and Bill Wittig; one step-daughter, Mrs. Bertha Tompkins; three sisters, one brother, and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Bazine, with interment in Brown's Grove Cemetery at Burdette, Kans.

Daughter of Heinrich Rein Jr (1863-1919) and Katharina Elisabeth "Bertha" Schafer (1861-1944) Siblings are as follows : Amelia "Mollie" (Rein) Mai, Lydia (Rein) Stnezel, Katharina "Katie" (Rein) Knaus, Herman Rein, George Rein, Henry Rein III, Bertha (Rein) Foos, and Leo Rein
