A former Seventeen Mile Rocks identity. Mr. Francis Peter Belz, died at his home at Clayfield.

Mr. Belz was born 78 years ago on the round hill homestead, Seventeen Mile Rocks. Oxley. He lived in that district until his retirement four years ago. He was a member of the Sherwood Shire Council for many years until its .inclusion in the Greater Brisbane Council. . In his earlier years he was a successful exhibitor at Royal National shows. He is survived by his wife and 19 descendants, including one son, four daughters, 11 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
