Maurine Schulz, 83, of Marble Falls, died Feb. 28. Born Dec. 4, 1926, in Kitrell, Maurine was the daughter of Texas Ranger Theodore DeWalt and Dollie (Andrews) DeWalt. She married Ray Schulz in 1946 and they celebrated 64 years of marriage last June.

Maurine was the office manager for 21 years at GVEC in Seguin. She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin for 26 years and a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Marble Falls. She was an avid cook and baker. Maurine enjoyed many hobbies; including gardening, reading, needlework, decorating her home and she loved to go deer hunting.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Schulz of Marble Falls; sons, Mike Schulz and wife Shirley of Marble Falls, Chris Schulz and wife Pam of Magnolia, Ark.; daughter, Melissa Lamm of San Angelo; grandchildren, Travis Schulz and wife Shannon, Leasha Klotz, Skylar Klotz, Ashley Davis and
husband Davey, Ben Lamm, Zach Lamm, Marenda Maloch and Thomas Maloch; great grandchildren, Cody Schulz, Natalie Schulz, Keslee Klotz, Skylar Klotz, Jake Klotz, Kyle Armstrong, and Chance Armstrong; and her sister, JoAnn Waller of Liberty.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Douglas DeWalt.

The funeral service was at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Dr. David Henry officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home of Marble Falls.
