MR. GEORGE EDWARD NORMAN Atlanta, GA - Entered into rest Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Piedmont Hospital.

Mr. George Edward Norman, a native of Augusta, husband of Mrs. Lisa Johnson Norman.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel, Paine College. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Elim Baptist Church, 2359 Mt. Auburn St., Augusta, GA.

Mr. Norman is survived by a step-daughter, Mauri West of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Silas, Jr. of Bloomfield Township, MI and James Howard (Lois) of Rochester, NY; two sisters, Jessye of Croton-on-Hudson, NY and Elaine Sturkey of McKinney, TX; seven nephews, four great nephews, two great nieces, four godchildren and a host of cousins and friends.
