Louise Hellman Patke, 94, Union, died June 25, 1997.
Mrs. Patke was born October 2, 1902 at Villa Ridge, the daughter of Louis Stoner and his wife Louise, nee Katzung.
She received her schooling at St. Mary's School, Moselle.
In July, 1992, she was united in marriage to Mathias Hellmann. They made their home in Union.
She and her husband operated Hellmann's Grocery Store, later she worked at Carmo Shoe Facotry, as a fancy stitcher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mathias in 1956.


In August 1967, she was united in marriage to August Patke. They made their home in Villa Ridge.
She was preceded in death by Mr. Patke in 1988. Mrs. Patke was a member of the Imaaculate Conception Church and the Western Catholic Union.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Raymond "Bucky" Hellmann, in April 1996.
Mrs. Patke is survived by one daughter Janice Unnerstall and her husband Moe, Washington; one daughter-in-law, Norma Hellmann, wife of Bucky Hellmann, Union; six grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two stepsons, Al Patke and wife Ethel, and Clarence and his wife JoAnn; four stepdaughters, Bernice Eckelkamp and her husband Richard, Frances Loepker and her husband Ervin, Irene Voss and husband Joe, and Lucille Piontek and her husband Donald, all of Washington; one stepdaughter-in-law, Helen Patke, wife of the late Joe Patke.
A funeral Mass was held June 27 with interment in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Union.
