Catherine Amme Himelright SUMMERVILLE - Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of September 20, 2011, Catherine Amme Himelright, widow of Loring Kenneth Himelright. Residence, Summerville, SC, formerly of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL at 12:00 Noon Saturday, September 24, 2011. Interment, Bethany Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Himelright was born April 17, 1917 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Carl Henry Amme and Johanna "Josie" Bargmann Amme. She was a graduate of Winthrop College, attended The College of Charleston and served as a volunteer with Roper-St. Francis Hospital. Mrs. Himelright was a former member of Second Presbyterian Church and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one son: L. Kenneth Himelright, Jr. (Natalie) of Denver, CO; two daughters: Taffy H. Tamblyn (Robert) of Charleston, SC and Leslie H. Dell (Vance) of Ft. Worth, TX; six grandchildren: Loren Therrien (Dennis) Roy Clifton, III, Lindsay Calkins (Ryan), Katherine Dell, Peter Himelright, Richard Himelright and nine great grandchildren. She is predeceased by three brothers: Carl Henry Amme, Jr., Robert Godfrey Amme and Richard David Amme.
